You know Bella, our product tester. You must have seen her in our family group picture. She's an old lady (13yrs), good behaved dog and she'll never trade her cozy bed for anything in the world. We thought... Actually, she's sneaky, and once she'll seize an opportunity...off she goes. She's not old anymore, she can run like a greyhound and the world is her living room.
THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT
It happened before, we didn't freak out. Usually we find her in matter of minutes or a good heart person will bring her back as she has a tag on her collar. We thought... Actually, we learned 2 days later that all the info on the tag was partially unreadable due wear and tear.
IT'S JUST A TAG
I thought... After 2 days of living with fear that we lost her forever I realized how important is that tag. I have never pay attention to this, I bought any engraved tag, mostly was a price decision and we actually bought lots of them in 13 years. They snap, the scratches cover the engraving or fades in time, some of them are cover with rust immediately
TAG A PAW
I am a jeweler, I don't do tags for pets, it is way beyond my qualifications. But I also have a big ego, dad jokes, all the skills and the tools needed to build the TAG that never fades, it is always sharp and clear, the tag that never rust or bend, that can face salty water, mud ... the ULTIMATE TAG :). Bella had the first one, then all my friends who saw Bella tag, then lots of pet lovers in the park who stroke my ego admiring Bella's tag. Then two years ago TAG A PAW was born.
OUR MISSION - TO SAVE THE WORLD
No, it is not, we can't do that :). We will consider our mission complete if along the way we can keep safe and bring back home our furry friends, if we can provide good quality products and services, if we meet and connect with people and their stories, having a lot of fun while doing all of these.
HAPPY ENDING
Bella is still living her best life with us, she was promoted and runs Product Testing & Development department and Unhappy Customers Complaints department with our toddler Allegra (aka Trouble).
